GLOBAL PEACE FLAG EXHIBITION
THE UNITED NATIONS
NEW YORK
GENERAL ASSEMBLY SEPTEMBER 2024
CONNECTING HUMANITY THROUGH CANVASES OF ART
The Global Peace Flag is our first worldwide peace project, symbolizing the interconnectedness of our actions across the globe. Traveling from country to country, we invite people to express their vision for a better world by painting or drawing their commitments to peace and sustainability on discarded fabrics. These art pieces are then stitched together into large canvases displayed at the UN, in conflict zones, and on other relevant platforms.
The three key messages of the Global Peace Flag campaign are:
-
Embrace Peace and Responsibility: The paintings advocate for a harmonious world.
-
Sustainability: The use of discarded fabrics emphasizes the importance of a thriving environment.
-
Interdependence: The campaign highlights our mutual dependence for well-being.
So far, we have toured through India, Pakistan, Egypt, United States of America, Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Monaco, Germany, Ukraine and other countries, creating various flags to promote different causes:
-
The Peace Flag
-
The Prison Flag
-
The Ocean Flag
-
The Climate Flag
-
The Zero War Flag
-
The Human Rights Flag
